See. Hear. Read.

Welcome to our Broadcast section. Think of this area as a rolling stream of consciousness, a flow of aural and visual information beamed direct from the Cable office.
Leo Greenslade – one half of West London clubnight yOyO, and Alex Phountzi – formerly of Bugz In The Attic - have been collaborating together for the last 3 years, remixing the likes of Kanye, Yo Majesty and Amp Fiddler. They’ll be spinning in the main room at Chew the Fat! on Bank Holiday Saturday alongside Zinc & MJ Cole, so we asked them to have shuffle through their record box (virtual or otherwise) to give us their 7 Ways to Fear Silence…

Three For The Floor

1. Major Notes : Vagabond (Lossol Entertainment)

Taken from his current Ashanti Jewels EP, there are a load of killer tracks on here but we're going to pick this one as we've been caning it in our sets. Rowdy house music from West London, shout to the Major!!

2. Seiji: Easy (Seijimusic)

Seiji makes it look 'easy' once again this time on a bumping house flex.

3. Greenmoney: Into You feat Roses Gabor - French Fries mix (Greenmoney music)

The young Parisien took our latest track with Roses Gabor, ripped it to pieces and came back with a killer mix for the floor.

Three For the Sofa

1. Barrington Levy : The Vibes Is Right (Profile Records)

Always loved his voice and given it's carnival weekend this track sets the tone nicely....

2. Paulinho Da Costa : Lets Get Together (Pablo Records)

Classic summer vibes from the Brasilian percussionist taken from his 1979 album, Happy People. Also known for his work with Quincy Jones, Mile Davis and Dizzy Gillespie.

Listen on LastFM

3. Pete Rock: Play Dis Only At Night (BBE Records)

Taken from his 'Petestrumentals' album this is a chance to zone out and admire the legendary hip hop producer's craft.

1 All Time Favourite

Amy Winehouse : In My Bed - Bugz In The Attic remix (Sony Records)

RIP Amy Winehouse

Greenmoney play at Chew the Fat! Bank Holiday Special on Saturday 27th August.
