Welcome to the first ever Cable Daily Feed! From now on Cable will be bringing you our favourite articles, mixes, interviews and more from around the web, informing you about what is going on in the scene you love, the artists you support and the goings-on you need to know about.

Our first post is about a man that is no stranger to Cable - David Rodigan MBE. After 22 years on KissFM the Reggae legend has left the building. FACT Magazine have all the details here.

Ever wanted to play alongside Dubstep don Plastician in one of London's leading underground clubs? Well Cable have teamed up with Plastician and his highly regarded Terrorhythm label to offer a great opportunity to all budding DJs out there.

1st prize is a DJ gig, warming up in the main room at the forthcoming Cable presents 10 years of Terrorhythm showcase, here on Friday 7th December. 2nd and 3rd place win a Terrorythm Goodie Bag and VIP entrance to the event.

The contest is open for everyone who uploads a DJ mix to their Soundcloud or Mixcloud page between November 22nd and December 4th. To stand a chance of winning, simply upload a mix of between 30 and 60 minutes in length. You also need to include the Terrorhythm artwork below as your Soundcloud / Mixcloud image and include the event link listed below in the description. You will need to promote your mix to gain plays, 'likes' and 'favourites' as only the top 20 mixes will be considered by the jury.

Rules:
Open to DJs who over age 18 only. Entrants irrevocably grant to Cable and all its associated companies the exclusive right to reproduce, edit, adapt, publish, transfer, distribute, perform, display and use any or all of the entries submitted by entrants of the contest.

All Cable faithful, welcome to the first official episode of Cable TV. The first dedicated club feature including exclusive artist and staff interviews, clubber challenges and competitions, music from the night and much more.

This week the Cable TV crew were down for We Fear Silence present Butterz & Hardrive, who were ending their UK Black & Yellow tour in style down at Cable with there most diverse lineup to date, featuring Garage godfather DJ EZ and Dancehall boys The Heatwave. We sat down with label owners Terror Danjah and Elijah & Skilliam, as well as Rinse regular Royal-T to find out a little more. Check out the exclusive footage from the night including sets, clubber interviews and not forgetting security Chris.

Episode 002 - Wheel & Deal vs Croydub coming soon...

This Friday N-Type's Wheel & Deal records goes head-to-head with the legendary Croydon Dubstep night, Croydub, here at Cable showcasing Dubstep in it's purist sense. Joining N-Type will be veteran and pioneer Hatcha with the lively SGT. Pokes on the mic. Original heads Chef & Hijak go back-to-back with DMZ's Coki joined by OG'z member, Blacks. Walsh and Soap Dodgers complete the main room with the distinctive Flowdan also on hosting duties.

And if that wasn't enough we're also going to be streaming the action live from the main room!
