See. Hear. Read.

Welcome to our Broadcast section. Think of this area as a rolling stream of consciousness, a flow of aural and visual information beamed direct from the Cable office.
Pirate radio airwaves are a place where most dance movements of the last decade found their grace – eventually finding their way onto the playlists of commercial radio. Rinse is a station who have always been there first – spotlighting the rise of grime, dubstep and now blue wave. But now, fully official and license accredited – they’re keeping operations strictly legal, spotting things early and making tight relationships.

So when they offered Critical Records boss, Kasra, his own monthly residency, they knew they were doing it in confidence of his own success. Already with a roster that boasts the likes of Enei, Foreign Concept and more, catch the crew down at Cable this Friday.

Tune in to rinse via 106.8FM or stream live via RINSE.FM

As is the case with all festivals this year, the slow-drip of line-up announcements is frustrating beyond all belief, but on the flip-side a lot of festivals really seem to be pulling it out the bag. This is definitely the case for the original rave-in-a-fort event EXIT in Novi Sad, Serbia.

The first list of acts to be published saw Friction, Dubfire, Fatboy Slim and Seth Troxler amongst others on the bill. And now that the second broadcast of artists has been posted online it's a pleasure to see a We Fear Silence X Blueprint X Cable stalwart added to the roster.

Whether it's a live performance or a DJ set, Jeff Mills always delivers.

The Detroit techno deity has graced the Cable decks many a time and it will be a pleasure to see him in the idyllic settings of the surreal fortress. With such musical diversity, the rest of the Exit programming is something of a jaw-dropper and we're happy to be a part of it.

Idiosynphonic will be hosting a boat party at the festival, bringing you some of the best artists of the bass variety for 5 hours in the sun. More information to be released on this as we go.

In light of Idiosynphonic's involvement with the festival, we are in the position to sling a pair free VIP tickets your way, don't say we never do anything for you!

Keep an eye out on our Facebook and Twitter pages for more information about the competition.
Pinch is a name that is synonymous with dubstep as a genre of music, as a movement of culture and, last but not least, great production and finely-tuned mixing skills.

And now, in 2013, Pinch has taken the helm of yet another label. Alongside his labels Tectonic and Earwax, Cold Recordings is the 3rd leg of his metaphorical label tripod. The imprint will be a vinyl-only affair and (in the words of Resident Advisor) explore "new movements in the ever evolving UK hardcore-continuum—taking inspirational vibrations from a long standing heritage that ran through acid house, hardcore, jungle, UK garage, dubstep and beyond".

Whatever that means, it sounds decent. The first release comes from the Cardiff-based producer Elmono, who's 2-track 12inch drops in the very near future. Check out the stream below, which aims to give a taste of what sound we can expect from the label.

The American DJ and producer is the latest addition to step up to the K7! decks and record an mix for DJ-Kicks. Resident Advisor have managed to get an exclusive stream of the new mix online where you can listen to it before its release and pre-order it as well. Other DJs to feature on the mix series are Maya Jane Coles, Scuba, Juan MacClean and James Holden to name but a few.

Despite a small digital tussle with woman-of-the-moment Nina Kraviz regarding 'that bath scene', Maceo Plex is one of the scene's rising wonders, soon to be on the same pedestal as Loco Dice and Ricardo Villalobos. His other aliases include the brutal techno sounds of Maetrik and the now dormant Mariel Ito. The Crosstown Rebels and Ellum Records favorite is a stalwart at any major dance festival and always worth listening to, his set becoming infamous on the global circuit.
