See. Hear. Read.

Welcome to our Broadcast section. Think of this area as a rolling stream of consciousness, a flow of aural and visual information beamed direct from the Cable office.
That's right folks, you read the title correctly. A man named Mathias Krizanac has set up a free online dating website that allows techno lovers to chat, message and share pictures their vastly cool record collections. The Berliner (where else would he be from) set up the website last year with the slogan 'Do you like techno and spend your time alone?' which is basically a yes from any avid techno fan and since then it has rapidly grown and is available in 4 countries.

And let's face it; if you're a man, unless your hanging out in record shops with Ellen Allien or bath houses with Nina Kraviz, the chances of meeting a lady friend who knows her Move D from her Model 500 is probably quite slim. One could go down the route of chatting someone up in The Berghain, but one would soon fail to be heard over the thumping kicks and sharp hi hats that effervesces from the ex-power-stations moulded Funktion-One. Unless you were at the ballet, but then there would be no techno.

It's a tricky situation friends, but it's not impossible. Just take a look at Berghain regular and Klockwork boss Ben Klock and the aforementioned Nina Kraviz. Both internationally touring DJs and producers, happily intertwined in a love nest built from crate-digging and 808s.

If you're looking for love in the sleeve of a vinyl record, you'd probably do better by heading over to Best of luck to you!
