This weekend two massive brands go head to head in an 8-hour clash of 175bpm bass, leads, vocals and percussion. Idiosynphonic have been responsible for some big first-evers in this country and indeed the world. They were the first to showcase the new live show by RAM Records duo Loadstar, they brought Document One live for the first time, as well as bringing the hard-to-book Canadian duo Zeds Dead twice and Modestep Live just to show you they weren't messing around.

With such a firm foothold in the dubstep scene, it's time to change things up and this stellar drum and bass line up shows just that. With Metalheadz founder and general DnB scene don Goldie headlining, their statement of intent to not be pigeonholed couldn't be any clearer. And teaming up with the multigenre, multitalented We Fear Silence is not a bad way to set yourself even further apart from the saturated world of promotions and parties.

We Fear Silence are on back-to-back Satudays, having just celebrated their 4th birthday in style with Boddika and one of the best crowds Cable has seen. The atmosphere was electric and they're bringing that energy with them this weekend, using their mercurial image as a canvas to paint a different vibe from last weekends techno rave. Alongside the aforementioned Goldie we welcome back Fabio, whose expansive knowledge of music and decades worth of experience behind the decks only brings the highest quality of noise.

With two flagship Cable brands coming together, this party is set to be one of our largest to date. Idiosynphonic's weight in the bass music scene combining with the classic We Fear Silence DnB pedigree can only breed good things. Also on the bill is Commix; a names which involves one of the scene's greatest albums entitled 'Call to Mind', a track called 'Painted Smile' (regarded as one of the most seminal tunes to come out in the last decade), and one half of Instra:Mental with the aforementioned Boddika.

DJ Die, Technimatic, Koncept and Tomek N fill out the rest of the line-up and We Fear Silence vs. Idiosynphonic kicks off on Saturday night at 10pm, you can see full details and grab tickets here.
