Relay
. . . a brand new sister venue for Cable.
Back in February 2012, Relay was forged from Cable's mysterious third arch to cater to the demand for a new standalone space suitable for live shows, as well as DJ performances, in London Bridge. Relay incorporates the same industrial aesthetics present in Cable with it's vast railway arches, metallic air-ducting and exposed brickwork. Of course we had to call on the services of our German friends over at Nova to create a new custom-built line-array system for the space, providing Relay with unrivalled power and definition. Along with that we installed a new high-end lighting rig, a chilled ambient seating area away from the main action and two extra bars to boot.
Since it's launch Relay has played host to some incredible parties including a world exclusive live performance of Dubba Jonny's 'No Stopping' album, a roadblock 'That Mixmag Thing' rave and several international jocks have spun such as Margaret Dygas, Wilkinson, Calyx & Teebee and many many more. We've even had the likes of Kevin Bridges, John Richardson, Phil Jupitus & Marcus Brigstocke down to give us a giggle for the Laughing Boy Comedy Club who we welcome back each month. All this shows just how versatile and atmospheric this new space can truly be and it's also the perfect location for private functions that need that little extra kick!
